Nahe bei Nürnberg und dem Messezentrum gelegen, wurde Neuendettelsau 1216 zum erstenmal erwähnt. Es geht zurück auf eine Wasserburg und hat sich zu einem modernen Ort mit ca 8000 Einwohnern entwickelt, der alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten bietet, inmitten reizvoller Natur.
Die Verkehrsanbindung nach Nürnberg, Ansbach, Rothenburg ist durch die A 6 (2 km)und den Bahnhof (0,5 km m)ideal. Unser Haus liegt am ruhigen Ortsrand.

Neuendettelsau(New Dettel's mead: 'Dettel'= a creek) received its first historical mention in 1216. It dates back to a moated castle, and between 1300 and 1500 was owned by the Nobles von Vestenberg and von Seckendorff. It was then acquired by Sebastian von Eyb early in the 16 th century. The Descendants of the Barons von Eyb live in the Castle to this day.
Neuendettelsau is ideally located in the center of many historical sights, and benefits from the diverse contrasts of its lovely nature.
From here, within 15 to 60 minutes, you can reach medieval attractions, such as Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Castle Colmberg, Castle Abenberg, Castle Pappenheim, Castle Schillingsfürst, Nuremberg, Bamberg, Bayreuth, Dinkelsbühl, Ansbach, Wolframs-Eschenbach, and many more.
Heidelberg and Castle Neuschwanstein are also within comfortable reach. We are only 5 minutes away from highway A 6, to take you there quickly.
